DESCRIPTION:Please join the A.C. Reynolds High Parent Teacher Student Association ( https://acrhs.buncombeschools.org/o/acrhs/page/ptsa ) for our 2nd Annual Out of the Silence Suicide Awareness & Prevention Walk & Event. This event is free, open to all members of the WNC community, family friendly, wheelchair/stroller accessible, & informative. We will have activities for children of all ages, free refreshments/snacks, live music, take away information, mental health professionals & resources on site, as well as awareness bracelets. Suicide prevention is key for our children & community. This event is an uplifting, informative way to learn how to help our children by talking about mental health issues, such as bullying & suicide prevention. Our short walk takes place on the track inside the A.C. Reynolds High School’s R.L. Dalton Stadium. Attendees are not required to participate in the walk in order to attend. Come as you are, or show your support by wearing the awareness colors of teal & purple.
