DESCRIPTION:\nHow are you celebrating National Pickleball Month?\nAsheville Parks & Recreation ( https://www.ashevillenc.gov/department/parks-recreation ) (APR) is celebrating with a big announcement: following evaluation of multiple sites, Aston Park and Roger Farmer Park emerged as potential locations for an 8- to 10- court pickleball complex ( https://publicinput.com/avlpickleplex ).\n\nThe project team is looking for feedback from picklers, neighbors, and other park users to ensure the final site selected for this community investment minimizes impacts and amplifies benefits for all residents. Funded by 2024 general obligation (GO) bonds overwhelmingly approved by voters, the project aims to promote healthy lifestyles and social connections.\n\nDrop-in Info Sessions\nDrop-in info sessions allow community members to share priorities and concerns about both sites, as well as speak with designers and project team members. Complimentary transit vouchers are available to attend sessions via ART buses.
