Pisgah Legal Services, through its Justice for All project, offers free legal aid to low-income immigrants across Western North Carolina’s 17–18 mountain counties. The program helps those eligible to secure legal immigration status and employment authorization, with services including guidance for family-based petitions (e.g., marriage to a U.S. citizen), Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, U visas and T visas, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), naturalization, asylum, credible fear interviews, and representation in removal hearings and appeals.

Pisgah Legal also assists with broader needs—such as access to housing, safety, and education—and helps clients understand eligibility for benefits like NC Medicaid and health insurance through Healthcare.gov. Their attorneys guide clients through application complexities and federal immigration procedures.
