When I was younger, my parents always told me, "Money doesn't buy happiness, money buys choices." This sparked my interest in investing and personal finance as a teenager. Throughout college at MTSU and my previous career in education, investing and living below my means was always an important part of how I lived my life. During my time as a 4th and 5th grade math teacher, I incorporated investing and personal finance into as many lessons as possible. I believe that understanding how money works makes it much easier to manage, and significantly less scary. This opened a door to become a financial advisor with Edward Jones.
