🌍 Join Us for Asheville’s Hard 2 Recycle Collection Day!

Are you ready to make a real difference in our community? 🌱 Asheville GreenWorks, in partnership with the City of Asheville and Buncombe County, invites you to another Hard 2 Recycle collection event! This is your chance to recycle items that can’t go in your curbside bins, keeping harmful waste out of our landfills and supporting sustainability in our region.

Here’s everything you need to know to join us:

🗓 Event Details

• Date: [Saturday, December 14]
• Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Location: TC Roberson High School (Entrance from Long Shoals Road, next to Pizza Hut)

♻️ What Can You Recycle?
We’ve made recycling easy and accessible! Bring along any of the following items for responsible disposal:

• White Styrofoam: Let’s keep this hard-to-recycle material out of our environment.
• Electronics: Old computers, laptops, cell phones, and more are welcome!
• Batteries: Both household and rechargeable types are accepted.
• Scrap Metals & Appliances: From small appliances to metal items, we’ve got you covered.
• Books & Cardboard: Clear your shelves and recycle responsibly.
• Bagged/Shredded Paper: Secure and eco-friendly disposal at its best.
• Select Terracycle Items: Check out the full list online for specifics.

🚫 Important Reminder: Not all items are accepted. Please review the full list on our website before attending. If it’s not on the list, leave it at home. You can find the details here: Hard 2 Recycle event page.

1. Review the List of Accepted Items: Make sure what you’re bringing is approved.
2. Sort and Label Materials: Bag shredded paper and separate items for quicker drop-off.
3. Wipe Your Electronics Clean: Protect your data before recycling old devices.
4. Follow Directions to the Venue: Enter TC Roberson High School via Long Shoals Road, next to Pizza Hut.
