Hendersonville Theatre: New Works Reading
🎭 Experience Theatre in the Making
Hendersonville Theatre invites you to New Works Reading: Page to Stage on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 3:00 PM. This FREE event features a play in development performed by local actors with scripts in hand, offering a rare, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the rehearsal process. It’s a unique opportunity to witness a new work come to life and support our vibrant local theatre community.
💬 Engage & Shape the Story
After the reading, stick around for a short, informal discussion where your feedback really matters. Audience members are invited to share thoughts, raise questions, and offer ideas—helping the playwright refine dialogue, pacing, character depth, and more. This collaborative session reflects HT’s mission to develop new scripts through public participation.
Selected works may move on to full-scale workshops or even mainstage productions later in the season, making your involvement crucial. Whether you’re a seasoned theatre-goer or just curious, your voice contributes to the creative process.
