Something Rotten! is the riotously funny musical comedy running July 24–August 10, 2025, at Hendersonville Theatre in downtown Hendersonville, NC. Set in the 1590s, the story follows brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom as they hatch a plan to outshine Shakespeare by writing—and staging—the world’s first musical. Guided by a whimsical soothsayer, the pair embraces song, dance, and farce, realizing that success means staying true to yourself—and all that jazz.
