IBN Back To Business Networking Event

When: September 19, 2024 from 6-8pm, setup 5-6pm

Where: Corryton Community Center; 9331 Davis Rd., Corryton, TN

What: Business Networking introduction after hours event

Why: To meet and connect with other business owners, and share what

you offer to the community or other businesses and help introduce networking to more people from the local area.

Who: Business owners and other professionals that have networking needs in the area and other local representatives that would like to meet those people.

Cost:

• Free for general attendees.
• Sponsors $10 please REGISTER HERE

Schedule:

6 to 7pm will be open networking with giveaways given throughout this time period.

7 to 7:30/7:45pm will be a presentation and will involve the following:

• About Corryton Club (from their representative)

  • About IBN Networking (Choya Harden)

• About the IBN Corryton group (from Terri Brooks and Tricia Dahlstrom)

• A few testimonials about what networking has done for their business.

7:30/7:45-8pm Wrap up, cleanup and final networking opportunities

Tables:

15 tables minimum (provided from community center), split in 2 sections for displays. This will give 30+ spots for businesses to display a little about their business (approximately 3’x2’ of space).  Each space will be $10 per table, plus a door prize to giveaway for entry.  IBN Sponsors for IBN are offered the space at no cost, but they must also set up a space and they are requested to provide a door prize as well. These IBN sponsors also must inform us by August 15th to guarantee their spot. Other table sponsors above the number of tables we have can provide their own table but still must pay the $10 and provide a door prize.  We will be providing white plastic table cloths in case someone doesn’t have anything but they can provide their own.

Giveaways:

1. There will be business cards drawn from the cards dropped at the checkin spot when they walk in throughout the evening.

2. There will be a business card collection race (most in 1 minute) preferably from non-sponsors if there are enough non-sponsors to encourage mingling.

3. There will be a competition for best decorated table.

4. Other fun ideas can be submitted for deciding the giveaways, just let me know.

Note: All prizes will be given away before the night is finished.

Refreshments:

• Sweet Tea and Water will be provided.  If someone wants to sponsor any additional refreshments they may do so and add their branding to it to further support their business.

• Trays of food will be provided from the funds collected from the table entries (the $10 per table).

• We will also be reaching out to a few local food trucks that may be willing to provide services and food but it will be at the patron’s own cost and the food trucks will still have to pay the $10 and provide a door prize for their entry.
