September Second Saturday Art Stroll in The RAD
Explore Asheville’s River Arts District during RADA’s monthly celebration of art, craft, and design: Second Saturday Art Stroll! The River Arts District is a vibrant creative hub of over 300 artists and galleries in 26 buildings. While studios and galleries are open daily, Second Saturday Art Stroll is the best day of the month to experience the RAD in all its creative glory.
September Second Saturday Art Stroll is happening rain or shine on Saturday, September 14th. Prime hours are 10-5, with the FREE ArtsAVL trolley shuttling around the River Arts District and downtown from 12-6.
During Second Saturday Art Stroll, shop original artwork directly from River Arts District Artists, see live art + craft demonstrations, and mingle with artists at new exhibit receptions. You’ll also find art classes, live music, and bites and brews at RAD restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and bars for a full day of art appreciation.
All year, RADA artists have been showing new and archived work based on monthly prompts with our year-long theme, “Who Am I? Who Are We?” In September, RADA artists are exploring the prompt “The Vortex.”
