This is how South Asheville does Turkey Day! On Thursday, November 27, 2025, start your Thanksgiving morning strong with the South Asheville Turkey Trot, a fun and relaxed 5K through the scenic Biltmore Park neighborhood—the only run permitted there. Costumes, community and carbs collide: trot for the turkey…and the pie!

Distance: USATF‑certified 5K (3.1 miles) through tree-lined residential streets

Timing: Chip‑timed using MyLaps for fast, accurate results
