We are a Christian ministry of charity, service and justice dedicated to providing help to those in need, hope to those in despair, and inspiration for others to follow. Catholic Charities is a non-profit social service organization following the teachings of the Catholic Church. We offer services and programs in the following: Burial Assistance, Counseling, Family Enrichment including Elder Ministry, Marriage Preparation, and Natural Family Planning, Food and Clothing, Pregnancy Support, Adoption, Stay the Course, Supportive Services for Veteran Families, Teen Parenting, Transition Out of Poverty, Refugee Resettlement and Assistance, Immigration, and Social Concerns and Advocacy, Education, Public Policy and Respect Life.nServices are provided from Asheville, Charlotte, Greensboro, Lenoir, Murphy, and Winston-Salem. nCatholic Charities is accredited by the Council on Accreditation. The adoption program is fully licensed by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services as a child placing agency.
