Acton Academy Johnson City is a brand new school in the Tri-Cities with a flipped model of education. Instead of being teacher-led, Acton Academy is a learner-driven school accredited with IALDS (the International Association of Learner Driven Schools). We employ Socratic guides, 21st century technology, and hands-on quests to enable each child to find their true calling to change the world. This learner-led environment facilitates children's learning at 10 times the normal pace of a teacher-led environment because they are enabled to learn in their individual interest areas and at their own pace.

We are Christians who are proud supporters of freedom. We believe in Political, Economic and Religious freedom and allow for the free practice of each in our studios. We believe in American Exceptionalism and all its virtues, and support it through our hands-on quests and adventures.

We are proud to support families by providing education that gives TIME back to families through our "no homework" and our "flexible time-off" policies. We give our learners opportunities not just to learn, but to learn to learn, learn to do, and learn to be. We hope we can bless your family and your friends' families, too!
