Walk to End Alzheimer’s 2026: Join ComForCare of Chattanooga

Every person who joins the Walk to End Alzheimer’s brings a reason for being there. For some, it is a parent, spouse, or friend living with the disease. For others, it is the memory of someone they love or a desire to support families in their community.

At ComForCare of Chattanooga, we’re inviting our neighbors to turn that compassion into action. Our team is participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Chattanooga on November 7, 2026, and we would love for you to join us.

Whether you walk alongside our team, make a donation, or share our fundraising page, you can help advance Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.

Coming Together for the Chattanooga Walk to End Alzheimer’s

The 2026 Chattanooga Walk to End Alzheimer’s is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, at Erlanger Park. The event brings people together around a shared purpose: supporting those affected by Alzheimer’s and helping move the search for better treatments and a cure forward. Local event information is available through Choose Chattanooga’s Walk listing(opens in new tab).

For our team, participating is an opportunity to connect with neighbors who care about this cause. We want families to feel supported, caregivers to feel recognized, and people living with dementia to remain at the center of the conversation.

You do not need a personal connection to Alzheimer’s to care about its impact. Showing up as a friend, coworker, neighbor, or community member is a meaningful way to offer encouragement.

Why ComForCare of Chattanooga Is Walking

Our involvement reflects a belief that compassionate care extends into the community. We want to help build a Chattanooga where families feel comfortable asking for support and where caring for an aging loved one does not have to feel like an isolated responsibility.

Through our in-home care services in Chattanooga(opens in new tab), we offer personalized assistance that can include companionship, personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and respite for family caregivers. These services support everyday life at home and recognize that each family has different needs.

The Walk gives us another way to put that commitment into practice. By participating as ComForCare of Chattanooga, we are inviting our community to stand alongside families while supporting the broader work of the Alzheimer’s Association.

We walk with gratitude for caregivers, respect for people living with Alzheimer’s, and hope for what continued research can make possible.

Supporting Alzheimer’s Care, Support, and Research

The Alzheimer’s Association’s fundraising events help support its work in care, support, and research. The organization also offers educational programs, support groups, and opportunities for people affected by dementia to connect. Learn more about these efforts through the Alzheimer’s Association(opens in new tab).

Supporting the Walk is a way to contribute to that mission. It connects a local act of generosity with an effort that reaches beyond one household or one community.

There is also value in the conversations the event can inspire. Sharing why you walk may encourage someone else to speak about a caregiving experience, remember a loved one, or learn more about available support. Approach those conversations with kindness, and let people decide how much of their story they want to share.

Three Ways to Support Our Team

1. Join ComForCare of Chattanooga

We would love to have friends, families, colleagues, and neighbors participate with us. Start at My Walk to End Alzheimer’s page(opens in new tab), look for the team connection, and follow the registration steps to join ComForCare of Chattanooga.

Invite someone to come with you. Sharing the experience can make the day even more meaningful.

2. Make a Donation

If you cannot attend, you can still support the effort by donating through our participant fundraising page. Choose an amount that works for you, and know that your contribution joins those of others who care about the same cause.

Your support helps advance the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission while encouraging our team’s fundraising efforts.

3. Share the Fundraising Page

A simple share can introduce the Walk to someone who has not heard about it. Send the page to a friend, share it on social media, or include it in a community group where fundraising posts are welcome.

Consider adding a sentence about why the cause matters to you. A personal invitation can help others understand why you are asking them to participate.

Make November 7 a Day of Community and Hope

As the Chattanooga Walk to End Alzheimer’s approaches, we invite you to take part in whatever way feels right for you. Walk in someone’s honor, contribute in someone’s memory, or join because you want families in our community to feel supported.

ComForCare of Chattanooga is proud to be part of this effort, and we would be grateful to have you beside us.
